Actress Jennifer Aniston has hit back at people who claim she “chose a career over children.”

The 52-year-old Friends star criticized those who weighed on her “personal” life and “medical” history.

The Hollywood star recently appeared on the cover of The Hollywood Reporter and revealed how people get on you.

However, she went on to say that her “job” was to “show you what I’m capable of and you decide if you want to subscribe.”

The Morning Show star told the post, “I used to take it all very personally – the pregnancy rumors and the whole ‘Oh, she chose the career over the kids’ assumption.

Jennifer Aniston slammed people for weighing on her personal life

“It’s like, ‘You have no idea what’s going on with me personally, medically, why I can’t… can I have children? ” They do not know anything.”

Jennifer added how people feel the need to take responsibility for things about her life that she finds “hurtful” and “mean”.

Previously, the actress had revealed her decision not to have children.

She said: “The amount of resources being spent right now by the press just trying to find out whether I’m pregnant or not (for the billionth time … but who matters) indicates the perpetuation of this notion that women are sort of incomplete, unsuccessful, or unhappy if they are not married with children. “

Jennifer went on to add that everyone is complete in their own way, with or without a partner or child,

She said: “We can decide for ourselves what is beautiful in our bodies. This decision is ours and ours alone. Let us make this decision for ourselves and for the young women of this world who regard us as examples. “

“We don’t have to be married or mothers to be complete. We can determine our own ‘happily ever after’ for ourselves.”

The star added how embarrassing it becomes when people praise her on her “fictitious pregnancy,” but insisted fans would be the first to know if she ever decides to be a mother.

In 2018, Jennifer opened up about how she gave up on having children after admitting that she found motherhood “very honestly, a little scary.”

“Some people are just made to be wives and have babies,” she added. “I don’t know how naturally this comes to me.”
